Welcome to My World — Where Precision Meets Purpose

Egbodo Benjamin, This Is Hip Hop HQ, Metis Vanguard, Nigerian entrepreneur, Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Hip Hop Business, African creative industry, Artist management, Construction innovation

Hey there, I’m Egbodo Benjamin — a Nigerian entrepreneur, Project Manager, and Quantity Surveyor by profession with a passion for connecting creativity and structure.

I’m the Founder and CEO of This Is Hip Hop HQ, one of Africa’s most credible digital hip-hop platforms dedicated to spotlighting independent artists and preserving authentic hip-hop culture. I also lead Metis Vanguard, a construction and project management brand built on precision, trust, and innovation.

My life’s work sits at the intersection of art, strategy, and structure — where ideas meet execution, and both creative and technical visions come alive.

Who I Am

I’m a trained Quantity Surveyor and certified Project Manager, with memberships and affiliations across professional and advocacy organizations including the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), ISSUP, Amnesty International, and the International Trade Council.

In 2024, I was nominated for the FOYA Africa Awards under the Social Founder of the Year (Under 30) category — a recognition that celebrated innovation, leadership, and impact in Africa’s creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Through my ventures — This Is Hip Hop HQ and Metis Vanguard — I continue building bridges between creativity and opportunity, ensuring that art and structure coexist in harmony.
